I made these last night. I put by weight 4 cups of mix to enough water in my Kitchenaid Mixer. I put it on #2 speed and let it mix 2 minutes. I then added chopped nuts and 1 tsp of madagascar vanilla inn the mixer also. Let it mix another 2-3 minutes till firm. I scooped them onto my heavy gauge cookie sheet I purchased here on WEB.COM. the cookies came out beautifully. With a husband who is a chocolate lover man. I try and keep them and other cookie mixes available here also on hand. And the price, how could you go wrong. I put the extra mix into a 1 gallon storage container that comes with a lid. Makes it nicer to keep in.

these cookies are delish...worth the money. I make homemade cookies for my business but it is really expensive. These cookies are cost effective. I will purchase again

This is some pretty tasty cookie mix. All you need to do is add water mix then bake it doesn't get easier. These are a great base cookie where you can add a variety of things to the batter if you wanted as well.

Purchasing these I was very skeptical, however, they do still taste homemade and I am able to add anything extra I want to them. So they are easy to make and very convenient, and great for your budget.

Great as a stand alone cookie mix or easy to add in items for almost limitless variations. I added some peanut butter, powder works well.

A good all around cookie mix. The fact you only need to add water, make them quick to make. Good for when you need a quick batch.
Michael S. Posted on 08/26/2016
The mix was complex to me, unlike the chocolate chips. So, a cookie cake was made with cream cheese and cherry filling being used for the topping. I think that this recipe will be a do-over.

Super disappointed. Thought these "simple" mixes would help me get new business off the ground until I could find a professional baker. I was wrong. Like the sugar cookie mix, these don't bake like normal cookies, more like cake. I still have to add chocolate and sugar to make them actually GOOD muffins, Yes, muffins, not cookies. Managing to salvage what I have because I bought an entire case.

Today I wanted to try some of these baking items so I made these chocolate cookies The 5lb Chocolate Cookie Mix like the sugar cookie mix is simple just add water and being that I make my cookies from scratch I'm telling you I will start using this mix to save on time and ingrediance plus the mix is not expencive at all so it's an amazing value

These taste Great and they're so soft. I add vanilla chocolate chips and nuts to mine but you can do so many different variations on it. I actually just scoop it out with a 2oz. scoop. I highly recommend this cookie mix because it does taste great and super easy to make!

Purchased this for a birthday event. We used this mix and a dollop of peanut butter on each cookie to make our Buckeye Cookies this bag made 65 Huge cookies.

With some adjustments, these were very good! I used vanilla extract instead of water for the fluid in this mix. Mixed it in stand mixer for about one minute then added chocolate chip and mixed slightly more. I baked at 350 for 12-13 minutes. They were wonderful this way!

I love this cookie mix. Everything you need is included, but let your imagination flow. We particularly like adding broken up pieces of peppermint sticks, peppermint patties cut into small pieces, white chocolate chunks, toffee bits, even drizzle caramel over the top. Yum.

This is a very simple to make basic flavor mix - turned out well and very cost effective for a bake sale. I chose to add a bit of cocoa powder to amp up the taste as well as chocolate chips - turned out great.

These were not good cookies-when I cooked them, they had a bad odor-I had many people try them and they just weren't good-I had high hopes! Oh well!
Stephanie N. from Sh-Booms Ice Cream Posted on 09/10/2015
Honestly, I wasn't very happy with this cookie mix. The cookies came out super flat and almost sticky even though I followed the directions perfectly. I live in a state with a high altitude, but e en with the proper adjustments they were still just ok.

what goes better with coffee,or a smoothie than a chocolate cookie we use this mix to bake our home made cookies in the store, best mix we have found

These are by far my favorite of the mixes I've ordered from here. They're great with whatever type of chips you have lying around, chocolate, white chocolate, and peanut butter are my personal favorites.
Blaise L. Posted on 10/29/2014
These were just ok. Not sure if I used to wrong, but it is not a good replacement for freshly home baked. I have not used this nearly as much as making cookies from scratch.
Athalia L. Posted on 09/22/2014
We will get these again for a fundraiser . They were so easy to make add water according to directions mix drop bake. Simple an easy soft chewy chocolate cookies . Everyone enjoyed them . May make them as double chocolate next time by adding chocolate chip s to them.

This cookie mix, when used as a base, can make excellent cookies! I typically add a little pudding and some chocolate chips and suddenly I have a brownie-like cookie that people love!
Shalane H. from Shalane Bakes Posted on 07/21/2014
This brand of cookie mix is great, I agree with the previous review that finding the right amount of water to add is an issue, my recipe is; 4 cups of mix, 1/2 cup water, 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips. I just mix it lightly in a bowl and drop spoon it on a cookie sheet, bake at 350 degrees for about 10 min.
Sandra G. from Kim's Flavored Cream Cheese & Sweets Posted on 06/02/2014
Yes, this mix has good flavor. However the problem for me is the amount of water to add to mix on the instruction that is a little off. Once you get it right, these are fabulous cookies.
Yvonne G. Posted on 07/16/2013
This makes a nice soft slightly chewy chocolate cookie. It's wonderful if you dip half of it into melted peanut butter chips for an extra decadence.
Dave P. Posted on 06/17/2013
Chocolate cookies are great for all sorts of treats! Nice for paring with nuts or even peanut butter! I like the flavor of this chocolate cookie mix!

Whenever I need cookies in a hurry, this is what I reach for. It actually makes baking easy and convenient, which is always great with me.
Jennifer M. Posted on 09/15/2012
This mix is a breeze to use and very economical. The taste is a simple chocolate that would do well for sheet birthday cakes. One 5lb bag will make a generous full sheet and 1 6" round. Its a great choice for anyone that needs to bake a lot of cake inexpensively.
David G. from Kodas Posted on 07/18/2012
Love this cookie mix. Just add water and you have 100 great tasting cookies to serve. And since it comes with 6 bags the price is unbeatable.
Michelle H. Posted on 04/21/2012
awesome chocolate cookie mixture. you can just add water to make the dough and add additional things like chocolate chips or even butter scotch chips to make it taste better
