Customer questions about this product

How can I properly care for this aluminum item?
Hand washing is always the best option to ensure that your aluminum stays in best working order. However, if you decide to clean these in a dishwasher, we strongly recommend using metal-safe detergents and sanitizers to eliminate any flaking or tarnishing that could occur from some harsher cleaners.
What's the difference between a riveted and a welded handle?
A riveted handle is connected by small metal pieces (called rivets) that are crushed between the handle and the pan body to attach them together. This type of handle is more common on copper and aluminum cookware.

For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.

We ordered this pot because it seemed like it would offer the best value for a stock pot of its size. Having now used it for a while, we can say that we are quite pleased by its sturdiness and anticipate that it will last a long time. The handles, which are often a weak point on cheap cookware, are solidly attached and show no signs of flexing or looseness when lifting it while it is full of boiling water.

These pots are very big. They are big enough to cook almost anything. We use it to make enough rice for the day. It is easy to clean as well.

Great construction. Really sturdy but its too big to fit on top of just one burner. Not quite big enough for two. Would be good for crawfish or peanut boils or something outside over a large flame.

this is one awesome pot! I bought it to cook home-smoked hams, which we make twice a year, and didn't want to spring for stainless steel. Just remember that 40 quarts of water less the ham is very heavy.

As young mom, I bought one of these for large family meals. I have been delighted with the utility and durability of the pot. From soups to stews, I wouldn't be without this heirloom. My kids already tease about who it will go to.

very good quality for a great price. It is more like heavy duty to me than it's label for standard. It is large enough for me to cook gumbo.

This pot is great for cooking large quantities of pretty much anything. It is really use to clean and it is very sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a pot this size.

Overall B+ sauce pot. With aluminum you definitely have to keep your eye on the sauces, but its lightweight construction makes it easy to move around and work with. Handles seem to be welded on solidly. I can see this lasting awhile and being a workhorse in the kitchen.

We call this our "squatty pot". After struggling to get sauces to cook evenly in taller pans, we tried this shorter version and love them. Much easier for cooking evenly and being able to stir.

Works great and our kitchen uses it daily for most cooking needs. Cleans up easy and light weight to make cooking time faster. We recommend it for future orders.
