The only issue we found is washing it takes away the color of the wood. Therefore, we do not soak this knife for too long in water. We really like this product, especially for the price! Knives will work just fine for our needs. They handles are a little more of a matte than I had in mind. That is my only critique. Other than the finish on the handle I'm completely happy with the purchase.
I have been very, very pleased with these knives. They cut well, they've withstood some abuse, and they look more upscale than something with a black, plastic handle. No issues using them to cut through a steak, although they've been great for general purposes too.
The smooth finish of the handles and the full tang blades give these knives the look of quality. Their streamlined profile makes them easy to store. A good buy.
Great price for a nice knife. They are sharp and cheap enough to be able to replace them as needed. We go thru a lot of steak knives so this is a good thing.
