Water pans are essential additions to the stock of any self-serve operation, allowing you to keep your foods at safe temperatures over the course of several hours. Made to last through repeated use, each spillage pan we offer is made out of stainless steel or aluminum for premium durability, and their simple shapes make them easy to clean. Plus, with their standardized lengths and widths, you can be sure these spillage pans will fit in your steam tables.
Water pans are designed to hold a certain quantity of water before being placed inside a steam table, just above the unit's heat source. After a food pan is placed on top, the water pan is heated and coats the bottom of the food pan with hot vapor. As the spillage pan is used, it needs to be refilled to continue warming the food to keep it at hot and safe temperatures.
