How can I properly care for this aluminum item?
Hand washing is always the best option to ensure that your aluminum stays in best working order. However, if you decide to clean these in a dishwasher, we strongly recommend using metal-safe detergents and sanitizers to eliminate any flaking or tarnishing that could occur from some harsher cleaners.
How do I “prepare” this pan for use?

How to Season a Pan

Seasoning your pans enables you to cook great-tasting food with minimal oil, butter, or fat. It also provides a stick-resistant surface, allowing for easy clean up, and will keep your pans from rusting quickly. Check out this video to learn how to season cast iron and carbon steel pans.

Today we're going to show you how to season cooking pans. Pan seasoning is essential to any food service operation, as it keeps your pans from rusting and your food from sticking to the pans. Seasoning cooking pans saves you time and money. We'll show you how to season five different types of cooking pans in this video. A cast iron skillet, a carbon steel fry pan, a carbon steel wok, a tin-plated pan, and a hard coat aluminum pan.

For a carbon steel pan, start by washing, rinsing, and drying the pan. Heat the pan on your range on medium to high heat, then add shortening to the pan. Use a clean dry towel to spread the shortening around the interior of the pan, creating an even coat. Remove the pan from the heat, wipe out the excess shortening and let it cool. You can repeat this process up to 3 more times. For a cast iron skillet, preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and set aside. Wash, rinse, and dry your skillet. Place the skillet in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and coat the entire skillet with shortening, inside and out. Place the skillet in the oven for 45 minutes with the baking pan on a rack below it to catch any mess. You can repeat this process up to three more times.

    This is a heavy weight aluminum pizza pan that bakes evenly and is easy to clean. Very inexpensive pan that a quality made pan. I am very impressed with this pan.
    We mostly use these for serving and not baking, keep them out of the dishwasher and they will look great for a long time and withstand a lot of abuse.
    This pizza tray was slightly smaller than I had anticipated, but it has worked nicely. It has served its function pretty well, but I'm not a fan of aluminum for making pizza anymore. I've since moved onto ceramic stones and it works much better. It's also annoying to cut pizza on this tray and then leave scratches in the aluminum.
    These pans are just what I expected. They had all the right sizes I needed so my trays are all the same. Price was amazing too!
    I worked in a pizza joint for years and these were the same kind of trays we used there. I was catering a wedding and thought they would work great for anything needing a tray. Since then I used them for reheating protein, as pot lids to help boil and many other uses beside pizza. Great trays
    Can't say enough good things about these pizza trays. Just to clarify something that might be confusing. The rim takes up 1" of the 14 inches, so if you are serving a 14-inch pie, there will be no left over rim. If you serve a 12" pie, it will leave 1" of rim showing all the way around. These are sturdy, easy to clean, and rim isn't raised up so much that it gets in the way (think of when you're cutting the pie). Excellent product, excellent value!
    These are well made and sturdy considering how light they are. Very good value if you buy them in larger quantities. They obviously get hotter much faster since they are thinner though, something to consider for the servers and customers.

    These trays are super durable. Drops don't seem to bend them, and they stand up perfectly to a nonstop barrage of orders in my restaurant.
    This is a nice sturdy pan. The rim around the edge acts as a border and helps hold the pizza in the center of the pan. Good size for frozen pizzas.
    This was my first time ordering larger version, I definitely didn’t need but very glad I got it. Solid feel, with very little give, and exactly what I was looking for individual and family style pizzas. I will order additional sizes soon and do recommend for any kitchen.
