People Talk About:pan cupcake pans cupcakes aluminum great made muffin nonstick cups
I've been baking for most of my life, and I have eaten many a muffin or cupcake, but I have never in all my days seen a cupcake/muffin tin like this one. The quality of the metal is fine. It's lightweight, for sure, but that's not a problem for me. My problem is with the shape of the wells. Each well is oddly shallow and very curved. The shape isn't even close to that of a standard cupcake liner. I should have read the reviews before I foolishly purchased this item under the assumption that it would, in fact, be a normal "muffin / cupcake pan." You can see from a previous reviewer's photos that standard cupcake liners are much taller than the wells, which begs the question, "Why use a cupcake tin at all?" For muffins, you'd either end up with something uncharacteristically squat, or if you filled them with more than a standard amount of batter, you'd get something where the muffin tops are almost as tall as the bottoms. I guess I can see these being used for some sort of small, cake-type item without a puffed-up top like a muffin, but that's really not what I was aiming for when I searched "muffin tin" and added a thing called "Aluminum Muffin / Cupcake Pan" to my cart. I just missed the return window due to a hectic month keeping me from opening the box until too late, so if I'm not able to do a return through customer service, I'll probably donate them to a thrift store. I know that there's zero chance of me ever using them to bake muffins or cupcakes as intended, so they'd just collect dust if I kept them. Read Less Read MoreThank you for your feedback! I use these pans a lot! I use them with liners when I make cupcakes, and sometimes without liners when I'm making other foods like french toast cups. I love how you can scrub these a lot and not worry about damaging them. I prefer aluminum over nonstick.
This muffin pan works great to make regular muffins, The tins should still be lined just to avoid them from sticking, the pan itself is easy to clean, scrubbing may be needed but not a lot.
Very nice, heavy duty, aluminum cupcake pan. The pan has a rolled edge around all four sizes that makes it very sturdy. The sides do slope outwards a little more than other pans I have used, but not significantly so.
I had the 24 cup of the same variety and really liked how it baked my cupcakes. Purchased this pan for when I am making smaller amounts. Works. well!
These 12 cup aluminum muffin/ cupcake pans are good. The metal quality is nice and thick. I wish the cups were deeper so it would be level with the cupcake liners. Perhaps there's a beneficial reason for that.
These cupcakes pans have a wired shape which leaves the cupcake looking smashed a pudgy. Also, the cupcake pan itself feels cheap and it arrived dented. To bad this is one of the only cupcake pans that you can buy just one of. I'm going to have to continue my search.Thank you for the feedback on these cupcake pans, Rafael. We do apologize that they were damaged! A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon.
This pan is sturdy and cleans up so easily even without nonstick coating, but the edges of cup are bowed out, so the cupcake doesn't look doming/high.
I dont like these pans!!! The edges of each cupcake tin are bowed out, so the cupcake doesn't look professional when its done. The cupcakes almost look like they were squished down while they baked, and they brown way too much on the bottom.Thank you for your review! We are sorry you don’t prefer these pans. Try this Chicago Metallic 45125 12 Cup Glazed Cupcake / Muffin Pan instead for a durable pan made of 26 gauge aluminized steel with a glazed finish to prevent sticking and promote even cooking.
These muffin pans are OK. They're very light. The also are NOT sealed - this is a big problem for me. The edges of the pan wrap around but since they aren't sealed, water and sanitizer get into the pan when it is being washed. It seems to drip out as they dry, but I worry about what they look like on the inside and if everything is really draining. And the first batches of cupccakes we've made with them have cooked VERY quickly on the outside, browning before the interior is done. I don't like these as much as a good nonstick pan intended for home use; and will be looking around for replacements.
This muffin pan is the last one you'll ever need to buy. Retail options are typically made of stamped steel and coated with a nonstick coated. The nonstick coating is unnecessary if pan liners are used and wears away over time which usually results in a rusted pan. This aluminum pan relieves those issues and looks great. The aluminum is very thick and sturdy and the cups themselves are a great standard size.
The thickness this pan gives the cupcake is great . i dislike tall skinny cupcakes. This pan makes full size cupcakes. Im goin to buy many more of these.
I really like this muffin tin. Its aluminum, but not cheaply made. Transfers heat well and is great for "normal" sized cupcakes/muffins. It seems like it will last a good long time!
These are good pans, but are made in China. It was hard to know from the description, but they came with a China sticker, so they are definitely made in China.
Good value for the money. We tried using this small pan and was happy with it so we upgraded to the 24 cup size with great results. This pan is sturdy and affordable.
