These wood logs offer
convenience and superb
quality. They contain only
the most carefully seasoned
and aged wood, to give
delicious wood flavor to the
foods you prepare. Your
choice of hickory or
mesquite. Hickory
contains "blanks" that are a
by-product of the tool
handle
industry. They are clean,
rectangular, quite uniform
pieces of barkless wood that
are ideal for wood burning
ovens and smokehouse
applications. Mesquite
contains approximately 50
pounds of mesquite logs
measuring 6" or less in
diameter and 16"-20" in
length. They are packed
neatly by hand into a sturdy
case. The cases are filled
by
volume and may weigh more
than 50 pounds. This is
honey
mesquite from the Texas
panhandle that has been
seasoned thoroughly. It is
used in the same ways as
hickory wood, but has a
stronger and quite unique
flavor. The fact that these
woods are boxed means that
they are easier to handle
and
take up less space. They
have
been fumigated to be
virtually insect-free.
