Customer questions about this product
- Can I use oils or sprays on my non-stick waffle iron?
- To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil, wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin or using Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray. While other sprays can actually cause food to stick more readily, Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray is made to work with regular or non-stick waffle irons alike!

Our restaurant has purchased three of these over the last few years. The warranty is for 1 year but they all stopped working after 1 1/2 years. We use them mostly on Saturdays so they are not overused. We even bought new internal boards to try and fix them. That did not work. Complaints to Waring were ignored. These are garbage, I don't know why I continued to buy them. Don't make my mistake try something else.

I originally purchased this waffle iron in Feb of 2014, had quite a few problems with it not cooking on one side and burning the other. Waring sent me out a new one in August of 2014... Six months later same problem with the new one received in August, one side not cooking , other side burring. SO... I'm out the money and I get a, "sorry your warranty is from original purchase" from Webstaurant... NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!. At least I get to keep a broken down piece of equipment... Buyer beware!!!

We found that the waffles we were making with this machine had a tendency to stick even with the spray. A few months after getting the machine and using it on a daily basis one side of the machine stopped working.

This is not a good waffle iron. When it did work, the waffles were always soggy in the area the handle was attached while the rest was crisp. We had a lot of issues with sticking which made us use extra pan spray which in turn gunked up the difficult to wash machine. Then it stopped working after 1.5 years of low volume use, completely burning one side while the other remained raw. Very disappointed with this product.

Good waffle maker for beginners and low volume. We do not sell an awful lot of waffles through the week but this machine definitely gets a workout on weekends.

So in our quest to find the best waffle iron for our special waffle mix, we tried this one. First off, please be aware that it requires a special 20amp socket with the Left prong being horizontal. Once you get past that, the waffle iron works but doesn't produce crispy waffles despite us trying cranking up the dial. It would beep but the waffle was still floppy. We leave it in longer past the beep and it would help but there was never a consistent time that helped to get the results we needed. We tried a standard belgian waffle recipe and it still was soft and floppy, though cooked through. The WW200 model that is stacked on each other is much more consistent than this one as well as cheaper and saves more counter space. Wanted to like this one but can only give it 2 stars for cooking the waffle but not to crispiness
