The first thing that strikes you is that this is a Quality product that is rigid and not flimsy. Next, when baking bread or custards, remember that stainless steel is not a great conductor, so you might have to add baking time to your recipe. Finally, you will be pleased with the larger size, 10" x 6" x 4", that allows larger loaves of bread and renders itself to cooking for "Big Eaters" when it comes to custards. Remember, you will have to adjust your recipes for the larger size and the fact that stainless steel will require more time in the oven. Sorry to say, I did not try any meat recipes.

works very well, I purchased this mostly to use for quick breads, it does a great job. Unlike the typical standard pan, this one gives you a little more room to grow, even if you just make the standard loaf in this pan.
