For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. Vollrath 52010 10" High Temperature Silicone Spatula
Fry pan did not heat evenly and non stick coating pealed after 6 months use in spite of hand washing and low heat cooking. Vollrath refused to stand behind product because it was beyond 90 days making this a throw away fry pan. Purchased replacement for (different manufacturer) which cooks evenly on our induction range and has a lifetime warranty.

Thank you for your review! We're sorry this pan did not work for your needs. We recommend trying this 11" Non-Stick Aluminum-Clad Stainless Steel Fry Pan instead. Its aluminum clad bottom will help distribute a more even heat on your induction burner.

high quality construction. I've been looking at the retail type of pots and pans, caphalon, cuisenart, etc.... I always find gaps in where the handles connect to the pan and other flaws that make me walk away, plus they are very expensive. this commercial cookware is very inexpensive by comparison and the quality is so much better than the so called "high end" pseudo-commercial stuff. no need to ever look at the retail brands again, this is great!
