Double boilers are great for preheating, reheating, and moisture-free cooking. This inset is a replacement component for the Vollrath 67711 double boiler set (sold separately). The inset drops into the double boiler bottom to be heated by simmering water in order to properly melt chocolate and butter without burning.

This 11 qt. inset fits snug inside of the boiler bottom pot (sold separately) to speed up the cooking time for increased efficiency.

For a handle to be welded, the metal must first be melted and then adhered to the pan body. This creates a strong bond that leaves little to no space in between, so bacteria and other food crumbs can’t collect and cause sanitation issues. Both are long lasting solutions for fry and sauce pan handles because they are durable and can withstand heat.
