So what I have here today is I’ve got our 120V unit, 1800W, again the maximum you can have on the 120. We have our 220 units. This is the 3000W unit. This is the 2500W unit. As we talked yesterday about wattages and voltages, right now these are rated at 220, say that’s just a rating. They are proved to be higher, but they are rated at that. When they cycle off, in other words when they are not heating anymore, they’re up to temp, the light goes out. This unit, I added a little oil to it, you can see the light is on and this unit as well you can see the light is on. Thermostatically controlled, talking about what is the range of it. If they cycle off, you can come up and turn these just a little bit and you’ll see that if you turn it a little lower, the light cycles off, you turn it a little higher…so they’re pretty tight. Within a few degrees. It’s deep frying, not sous vide cooking. We’re not as worried about precise precise temperatures. This knob on the top, this is a thermal cutout. If you should have an event where this unit overheats, there’s a thermal cutout, a high limit switch that’ll pop. Simply take the cover, take it off, and inside there’s a button you push down and it resets it. Also, on the fryer head assembly we talked about yesterday, on the underside there’s a microswitch that if this were to be lifted off it’ll cut out as well. Because we can remove these from the body, if someone were to take this out and set it on a counter, you don’t want it to keep going so it turns off. Accessories that come with these that we talked about yesterday—our night cover comes with our larger units. It’s an option on the smaller units. These are the double baskets, but you can also get one large basket. You don’t have to use baskets if you have something that you want to free float in the grease you can do that , just take the basket out and use tongs or something to take them out—funnel cakes, the onion that you went over this morning. Then I’ll mention as well as an accessory when we’re talking about fryers. Our 71500 heat lamp, a full size pan, and a wire grate make a nice dump station. Set this up next to the fryer, I just don’t have a lot of space, you typically dump product in here to keep it warm. The grate keeps it up off the bottom out of the grease. So a nice item to consider along with fryers especially if they’re using these as this add on area. They’re probably not prepared with a dump station next to it because it is just an add-on so remember to follow up with a dump station. Again, we’re not looking to be the big fryer to serve the lunch crowd. We’re looking for this thing for specialty items. Things like French toast sticks where you want to keep delicate flavors separate—I could present that box a little nicer—keep delicate flavors separate. It does. Farm rich, yes. I developed these last week. This week I’m working on this type of stuff or even you know, like some donuts or something where you have a delicate flavor. You’re not going to be doing fish in here. You’re not going to be doing anything else. This is something that you can bring out for your brunch. Put something in there. Why don’t I just cook one of those up for you? Just to show or another item is like sweet potato fries or something specialty. It’s a solution.
