I had been looking for a great bread scoring knife for a long time. I tried all kinds of knives, large and small. I even tried a new box cutter but I wasn't getting good results. My leavened doughs would always be dragged back by the blade, so frustrating! Finally, I saw this Victorinox online, watched a couple of youtubes and decided that I had to have it. I am very happy with this purchase because leavened doughs are sometimes very delicate and the last thing you want is to deflate them by using the wrong tool. Its price kept me thinking about it for a while but I bake so often that at the end it was money well spent.

Great knife! Small enough to keep in your pocket but works with just about anything you need a small knife for. Blade is very sharp and stays sharp for quite a while. I have 3 of these knifes and use them for different applications and my oldest one is close to 2 years of daily use and it does show its age a little but it still has a very strong clasp keeping it open or shut and the blade gets the job done. The tip has worn a bit but i'm pretty rough on knifes.

This is a super sharp little knife that is perfect for cutting large slabs of dough. It's also great for scoring the loaves--much sturdier and harder to misplace that a razor blade.
