  Aluminum - Aluminum fry pans provide excellent heat conduction. They are lightweight and durable. However, aluminum cookware can react to acidic products like tomatoes, and can discolor light colored sauces and foods.
  Aluminum Clad Stainless Steel - By fusing an aluminum base to a stainless steel pan, aluminum clad stainless steel fry pans have the excellent heat conduction of aluminum with the durability of a stainless steel fry pan.
  Aluminum Core - Because stainless steel by itself does not conduct heat as well as other materials, it is common for pans to have an inner core of another material, such as aluminum. Aluminum conducts heat more efficiently and eliminates hotspots. It may be a more expensive option, but is sure to be long lasting.
  Carbon Steel - Carbon steel conducts heat quickly and evenly, and can be used for induction cooking. These pans are light in weight and durable, and must be seasoned before use. However, pans made from carbon steel are not dishwasher safe, so you should always hand wash.
  Hard Coat / Anodized Aluminum - 400% stronger than regular aluminum. Made of dent resistant 3004 series aluminum bonded to an anodized surface, creating a hardened, non-porous and non-reactive cooking area for superior heat conductivity and strength.
  Stainless Steel / Aluminum - The aluminum exterior body ensures maximum heat transfer through the pan and eliminates hot spots and scorching. Because of the stainless steel interior, the pan is incredibly durable, and does not react with foods. Although pans made from stainless steel / aluminum are very long lasting, they are not made to be used on induction ranges.
