- Microwaves designed for light duty applications are often found in employee break rooms, vending kiosks, and server's stations in small restaurants. They feature simple, straightforward controls.
Medium duty microwaves generally have higher wattage, sturdier construction, and more features to cope with the demands of busy waitress stations, cafeterias, convenience stores, and even back-of-the-house use.
