  About this filter

  Fryers with tube style burners are a versatile, economical choice for a variety of frying duties. The tube shaped gas heating elements are permanently fixed in the fry pot. These types of fryers excel with high sediment, heavily battered foods.
  
  Fryers that utilize an open pot design have an unobstructed heating area. Gas models will heat the fry pot from the outside, while electric models have a heating element that is immersed in the oil. These electric elements usually fold up and out of the way for easy cleaning.

  Aluminum grilling surfaces have the advantage of heating up quickly. Iron grilling surfaces take longer to heat up, but they will retain heat for a longer period of time than aluminum. Therefore, aluminum would be the best choice if you anticipate sporadic, low volume use of your panini grill. Iron would be the better choice for high volume, continuous usage.

  Entry Level slicers are best suited for operations where it will be used for 1 - 2 hours per day. Most are not recommended for cheese slicing and have fewer safety or convenience features compared to other types.
  
  Mid-Tier units feature larger blades, more horsepower, and more safety features for more frequent use than an entry-level model. Some can handle occasional cheese slicing, but are mainly designed for a few hours of deli meat / vegetable slicing per day.
