For added convenience, its doors are self-closing and include a stay-open feature when opened past 120 degrees.
The Traulsen RBC200R-3 comes with easy-to-use SmartChill microprocessor controls, which give you access to 3 chilling functions: "blast chill" for quickly cooling foods, "soft chill" for delicate products like seafood and produce, and "freeze" for holding at temperatures as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit switches to the holding cycle automatically after completing a blast chill cycle, making the entire chilling process easier to manage. Additionally, the controls aid in HACCP documentation by letting you record and print all required product chill cycle information on adhesive labels.
A top mounted 3/4 hp compressor that circulates environmentally friendly R404A refrigerant is used in the blast chiller's holding cycle and high density, foamed-in-place insulation ensures outstanding temperature preservation and efficiency. The Traulsen RBC200R-3 is UL and NSF Listed, and requires a 115V electrical connection. For proper condensation removal, it also requires connection to a floor drain. Its roll-thru design enables easy loading and unloading from either side.
"Epicon" touch-screen controls allow you operate the unit with the temperature probe, by selecting one of your preset menu items, or manually, for complete flexibility. Four chilling settings (standard, speed, delicate, and energy-saver) allow you to refine the chilling process to deliver exactly the results you need, no matter what food item you are working with. The TBC1HR-3 blast chiller also provides complete HACCP documentation at the end of each cycle thanks to its on-board printer and USB port.
