Thanks to its low electrical demand, this scale can operate equally well off of the included power adapter or a 9V battery (sold separately).

Made of stainless steel for easy cleaning and long-lasting durability, this portion control scale features a 5 5/8" diameter platform with a tare function and calibration weights so you can adjust the scale and also ensure its measurements are accurate. The back lit, alphanumeric LCD screen clearly shows the weight of portioned items, even in dark areas. And for the ultimate in portability, this portion control scale comes with a protective carrying case with room for the scale, calibration weights, gloves, and product manuals.
