Customer questions about this product
- My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?
- Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in other cases, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. Contact our Customer Solutions team prior to placing your order, and we will let you know what will work best for the equipment you are planning to order.

The pros of this fryer is that it can fit in a tight space and performs well. The two baskets are sufficient for large batches of french fries. The cons are that the small design makes it hard to clean in some areas, particularly between the fat holder and the exhaust flue. Another aspect of cleaning that is difficult is getting all of the oil or cleaning water removed from vat. There lacks a significant slope to the drain spout so you have to lift the unit up to create a slope. This can be dangerous because often the unit is turned on so that oil is not viscous for draining, OR you have had cleaning water boiling during cleaning. So, the unit flue is hot while trying to drain.
