This certainly seems like a durable pastry blender. The sides and bottom are cut from a single piece of steel, and the blades at the bottom are thick and sturdy. My main complaint with this blender is the erganomics. Because of the way the handle is shaped, the sharp metal sides dig into my hand as I use it. The edges of the blades are also pretty rough, and I always feel like I'm going to get my fingers sliced as I run them over the blades to clean them. I probably wouldn't buy this again, even though it's very sturdy and well-priced, mainly because of the erganomics issue. It just isn't plesant to use.

I have not been particularly impressed with this. The blades are very easily bent. Using this with cold butter means you will bend it, and then it won't work so well. Haven't replaced it yet, but I probably should.

As someone who doesn't use a pastry blender a lot, I was looking for one that would be of decent quality, but at a fair price. This was perfect for me. I have only used it a few times, but each time it has worked very efficiently and it's very strong and sturdy

This pastry blender is made of very strong material. The handle fits just right on my hand making it easier to use. It cuts shortening or butter into flour great.

This is a really affordable pastry blender but i didn't need one with anything fancy and this gets the job done just fine. It is sturdy and sharp! I highly recommend this item!

I bought this to replace an expensive blender that, for all its class, still hurt my hand after a while. Unwilling to spend mucho moolah only to be disappointed again, I wrapped the handle of this one with Vetrap self-adhering vet tape, and I love it. Great grip, and a little cushion to boot. Cuts as well as my now dead high-end blender.

I purchased this for home use for when I make my homemade pie crust. As it can become quite tiresome by doing it by hand or by hand mixer. And once again thank you very much WEBstaurant store for the exceptional quality and pricing of all your items. & I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

These stainless steel pastry blender works ok but the blades are easily out of shapes. we use these to blend butter in flour, They are just not heavy duty use.

I'm a home cook who likes commercial grade kitchenware. I hate flimsy gadgets that fall apart, so this sturdy pastry blender really fits the bill.

I just got this pastry blender and am so glad I did. I used to use two knives to cut up my biscuit mix, but no more, this is so much easier. Clean-up is a breeze just wash with soap water and dry and store. The handle is quite easy to hold. And the price what can I say. it came from WEB.COM best prices anywhere.

This stainless pastry blender works like a champ. They are super sturdy and ready for abuse. At this price, why wouldn't you buy one?

It works great! Actually cuts up cold butter. The handle is not very ergonomically designed but it does its job well. Has a good angle for rolling back and forth along the bottom of the bowl as well.

Good, sturdy pastry blender. Easy to clean and does the job really well. We use it to mash baked beans, for blending flour and butter, and other simple mashing tasks.

A good all around pastry blender. The blades appear to be solid. so far holding up to regular use. It's been easy to clean, and the price was great.

This is a great pastry blender with five blades. It is sturdy , easy to hand or machine wash and works so much better than two knives.

Really good, and extremely easy to clean - the only fault I can find with this is that the seams on either side of the handle have a tendency to pinch your hand if you're not careful with it. I've made a habit of wrapping a cloth around the handle before I use it. Oh, and it's really good for cutting flour into mashed potatoes to make potato cakes!

My old pastry blender was from 1950 and it was rusting. I was having a hard tine even finding a pastry blender at local stores. I have used this blender for cutting butter into flour to make dumplings for "Spicy Soup" and it worked great. I even let my 4 year daughter help and she loved getting some times helping in the kitchen. Thanks.

When I upgraded my blender, I gave away my food processor. The last time I did a pastry-like dough (to make empanadas) without the processor, I went on hunt for a good pastry blender to do the dough by hand. This one doesn't disappoint - feels comfortable in hand for cutting in butter/fat, ensuring the dough is flaky and not overworked.

Love this pastry blender. Its one solid piece which is great, I've had similar pastry blenders in the past that snap apart at the handle when used too roughly, this is not the case here! Works fantastic for making pie crusts.
