pans scouring stainless great heavy steel clean skillet duty pots

These stainless steel scouring pads are great! They are good quality and last for awhile under heavy usage. They get the job done when scrubbing dirty pots and pans.

These are a good price and its easier to order these and hand your dish pit a dozen and not worry about making a trip to for a month.

These do not wear out nearly as quick as the light weight scouring pads. These last a long time and scrub threw burnt carbon with ease.

A cast iton skillet is non-stick because the pores in the metal are filed with carbon and it has a vey smooth surface. When cleaned with detergent, the carbon is wahed away, and the pres catch food. That's not the end of the world. The food captured in those pores carbonizes, and thje skillet returns to being a fine cooking surface again, but in the meanwhile, you ende up with burnt and sticking foods. When you get done with a skollet, poor some water unto the still-hot skillet to “deglae” it. Do this ERY carefully, aas you'll get steam and splattering water until you've learned to do it rigt, ane you don't want to scald yourself/ Remove the skillet from the burner to hold it qaboe the sink, and scour the surfact with a stainless steel sponge AND NO CLEANER. You may with to use rubber gloves or hold the sponge with tongs, if you are sensitive to heat, but you want to scour the surface briskly. Rinse out the skillet a couple of times while doing this until the surface has a nice sheen, You can put it in a drainer to air drey, or put it back o the burner for a few seconds to speed dry, but you don't want to allow the skillet to have water in contact. Doing this, you should NEVER need to “reseason” your cast iton ware. Stamped iron skillets can be naintained the same way, although they will never have the heat retention of a mass of cast iron. In residential use, one of these spomges will work for 6 months to a year before you want a new one. The sponges gradually fill up with crud, and while you can get the crud out with 3-4 trips through a dishwasher, they are chheap enough to simply grab another. They come in 12-packs, and they are cheap enough to toss. I keep a “clean” sponge for other jobs, as well as a skillet sponge. When coffee r ice tea film stains cups and glasses, thar clean sponge nicely scours off the film without scratching the glass. I rotate the sponges so when I discard the skillet sponge, I move the glassware sponge into skillet duty and use a new one for glasses, mason jars, etc. They sell smaller versions of these to consumers, but one of these is about three tes as large as a scrub bud, a lot easier to grasp, and a lot more useful for tough cleaning jobs. These are NOT suitable for cleaning plasticware, not teflon-coated pans, but I'm not sure why anyone would use teflon-coated cokware. Over the course of using those pots and pans, the coating gradually disappears, and there's recommended daily allowance for eating teflon. I'd rather eat food.

These things are amazing. When a green scrubbie won't get off the baked on residue, these things will. Even older baked on residue seems to vanish. Works on glass too but I go more gently and wouldn't use it on something I was concerned scratching.

Our company uses this product to clean out our kettle after making insect diet. We like using this to scrub the kettle because it cleans the diet off of it without a lot of effort. It also doesn't leave scratches.

These scrubbers are quite large. This is a good thing, they are used for full sized flat pans. They hold up well, and good price for the quality and quantity.

from Jesus People USA Kitchen Office Posted on

Very strong and durable scouring pad. Warning to those who are looking to purchase, they are VERY BIG. I now see in other reviews that others had noticed that as well. They are about 3 times the size of the pads you might buy at the grocery store. They work well, and the price was right, but if they need to get into tighter places for scrubbing, you might be out of luck.

Just what I was searching for. Needed at work and Chef would not order. Only complaint was the shipping cost! Shipping was 2x the product cost. Other than that, just what I needed.

We really like these heavy weight scouring pads. They are holding up very well and really do get the job done for stuck on foods.

These are the ones you want, these are STAINLESS STEEL, not the cheap ones you see at the grocery store that look like stainless steel, but start to rust when you leave them wet. These are the best for scouring off anything, when time is money, and the dishwasher needs to bust out a bunch of dough trays with sticky dried dough etc.

We are happy with our purchase of these scouring pads. They are solid and good quality. They are easy to clean. We would recommend to anyone.

    from B.C. Bagels Posted on

These things work just like steel scrub pads should, but they have a HUGE issue; the size. These things are GIGANTIC, which is a big problem, no pun intended. I've actually had to get our some tin snips and cut them in half. I wish they are about 1/4 the size.

Anyone running a restaurant knows that sometime's a normal sponge and elbow grease just doens't cut it, I always keep a few of these around for those tough to clean pots and pans.

These work well and are very sturdy. They happen to be much larger than I envisioned them to be, but they work great and who doesn't love a little extra scrubbing area?

when scrubbing pans, it's best to use these scouring pans as they can get the most food out, just make sure to replace them every so often. but with the price it's sold, thats no problem

This is pretty standard for stainless steel scrubbers. They work well, and I like that they are individually wrapped so they don't get tangled with each other.
