By Nicholas Martin Bought for home use. The blender is large but doesn't occupy much counterspace due to vertical design. Low setting is very useful and powerful, good for crushing big pieces of ice. High setting pretty much blends anything. I got it because I was tired of consumer blenders that couldn't handle ice cubes. I like to make smoothies and so forth. This thing works beautifully.

Love making snow cones for the kids that how well it crushes ice and in a matter of no time. Read reviews that motor is louder than regular blenders, but I didn't notice the difference at all. Love it!!!
