But the mushrooms always caused a good bit of tension on the slicer and I was worried the metal strings would snap. Not so with this device. Sturdy, hard-working and easy to clean. A great buy for anyone who slices mushrooms at their store.

I decided to get this slicer because it is a solid metal slicer that is sturdy enough for serious long-term use. The mushrooms slicer differs from the eggs slicer in a way that it has a solid metal blades instead of metal strings, and this makes it easy for cutting mushrooms. It is also easy to clean, which saves me time.

By Roberta Goff This is a great little tool at an excellent price. I was slicing portabellas with it for dehydrating and went too fast and bent the slicers but they were easily straighted with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Be patient and take your time with it and it will do the job well. |
