By S. Choi Didn't think thermometers were that important, until I finally got them. Probe (and oven) thermometers make quite a difference in home cooking and baking. I no longer worry about gummy breads because I can go by temp instead of time now. This Taylor thermometer reads pretty quickly, too, which helps so you don't lose too much heat when taking an intermediate reading. I also like that it can be calibrated, if the need arises. Highly recommended. |
