I use the containers fairly often and find them to be very useful around the kitchen and for portioning the foods. The 16oz container can be classified as a medium container, since it is in the middle of 8oz and 32oz containers. By using the plastic lid that is also sold here at The Webstaurant Store, you can make this container airtight and stack one container on top of another. The container is also microwave-safe and is great for warming up thins like macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, rice, patties and chicken nuggets. The supermarkets and delis use the same kind of containers, so you know that they are safe and quality plastic containers.

The lids are great for sealing the containers and making them safe for external contamination. These lids are also compatible with the 8oz and 32oz plastic containers. The lids are strong and do not break and they are easy to put on and off the containers.
