I am a residential customer, but this coupe bowl, in both Fleur pattern and a previous ARCOROC pattern called ASPEN, has been the most used plate in our house for the last 15 years. Most nights we fill them with salad greens, sprinkle meats, cheeses, nuts and veggies on top, add a bit of dressing, and everyone is good-to-go. They work well for curry or chili over rice, sauces over pastas, a main dish next to a small salad, almost anything we eat except a piece of meat that will be cut right on the plate. If the kids carry these plates around, or eat on the couch, they are much harder to spill than a regular plate, and they are easier to eat out of than a regular bowl, because the food is spread out more. Ours have been through hundreds and hundreds of washes, and look nearly new. Last week we stayed at a B&B in Vienna, Austria, and they used the bowls, coupes and dishes at the breakfast buffet, and they looked so nice! The clear pattern blends well with any china pattern.

Ordered 5 boxes of this for a Mothers/Fathers day program at our church... The mugs are hip enough for today's adult crowd, durable enough (microwave + dishwasher safe!) for the growing family, and surprisingly cheap enough to give 180 away and still remain in budget. Shipping was a bit high, but the glasses came in 3 days (ground shipping to lower NY), fully intact and with plenty of bubble wrap to spare. With shipping included, each mug came out to $2.42... which, for something that looks and feels as good as these Libbey mugs do... is well worth it.

My Mom bought 3 sets of these dishes including the plates & the bowls years ago. She gave a set to me, one to my aunt, and she kept a set. These shallow bowls are our "go to" dishes all the time. We use them more frequently than the plates. Guess what? My Mom, my Aunt, & I have all been looking for more of these bowls everywhere! I finally found these online, so I had a perfect gift for both of them (and me too!) They are durable, look good (you've probably seen them at restaurants when you were enjoying a beautiful salad), and they're great for soup, salad, pasta, and any dish (especially one that may be saucy or sloppy). I would buy more if I had the storage room!
