So far, so good. I haven't had any problems with bristles shedding (sometimes an issue with pastry brushes). The bristles are stiff--good for moistening the top of breads.

A great pastry brush for a number of different applications. The handle is a bit large for the size of the head of the brush, so it can take some getting used to to handle with ease, but other than that, this pastry brush gets the job done. Well constructed, and easy to clean. Recommended product.

Great brush! I have huge hands, so little dainty things often annoy me. This has a very sizeable handle, and the brush itself is large. I used it to brush gold powder across fondant decorations for cake and cupcakes. Worked very well, I will probably buy another one for savory cooking.

This Boar Bristle Pastry Brush has made greasing our cake pans so much easier. We always keep a huge vat of shortening and flour paste with one of these brushes in it. When we need to grease a cake pan we pull out the brush and paint the pans inside.

This brush is a really perfect way to brush excess flour off of food such as homemade pasta or tart dough. I love how easy it is to use.
