This spoon is a very awkward size. It is too large to use as a tablespoon and too small to be an effective serving spoon. Honestly these languish in the back of our silverware trays, unused.

I bought these tablespoons along with other utensils from Webstaurant for a beach vacation condo. These spoons look so good my guests keep stealing them.

Compared to the teaspoons these are huge almost serving spoon sized. they are too big for ice cream or cereal, in the break-room nobody uses these ever... :-( material finish and quality is great with a good weight.

The stainless steel tablespoon was a great product for my event. Gave a very professional and classy look to each one of my banquet tables would definitely recommend!

Although I'm very happy with all other pieces of Regency flatware I've purchased, I must say that I am very disappointed in this tablespoon, which is much too large to eat with. Upon measuring how much liquid it holds, I found that it holds an actual tablespoon, whereas most "tablespoons" included in flatware sets are sized to hold only a teaspoon and a half, or half a tablespoon. These tablespoons, however, are the same size as the serving spoons that came with my last set of flatware. I now see that this spoon is listed as a "Tablesoon / Serving Spoon", but I don't recall seeing the "/ Serving Spoon" part in the title when I placed my order last month; perhaps that's because that part of the title is on the next line, below the word Tablespoon instead of next to it; if I had known how large these spoons are I would never have ordered them since they are unusable as dinnerware and I certainly don't need a dozen of these serving spoons, especially since I ordered the actual serving spoons offered in this line. However, I am not returning them for several reasons - first because the box they were shipped is no longer fit for use since the flatware was shipped in a box that was much too large and had very little packing material in it to secure the contents (only one small strip of those air pillows was placed in the much-too-large box) and the contents of several boxes of flatware had been dumped out of the boxes, ripping the ends off the boxes in the process as a result of rough handling by the shipper, and improper packing in the first place. Secondly, even if the original package were in good enough shape to meet criteria for returning these spoons, having to pay for return shipping plus being charged a 20% restocking fee would cut my refund almost in half, so I decided to just keep the spoons to use as serving spoons on occasions when extra serving spoons are needed. What's most disappointing about this situation, though, is that the lack of a tablespoon appropriately sized for eating prevents me from completing my beautiful new set of Regency flatware. Hopefully someday the Update company will have smaller, normal-sized tablespoons manufactured so customers can complete their Regency flatware sets.

Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that these spoons did not suit you. In restaurants, these tablespoons are used as serving spoons. We suggest Regency's Flatware Stainless Steel Teaspoon for a small spoon.

I have replaced all my flatware with your Regency stainless steel. I had an Onieda set previously. I just love this more. I love the fact that I have more options in pieces at an affordable price and I couldn't ask for a higher quality. This is a nice size Tablespoon. It is nice and deep. Perfect design. And I am picky!

We like the quality and pricing of this flatware. Guest of our vacation rental house seem to like to take spoons with them (versus other flatware) so we are ordering more packs of these tablespoons.

These tablespoons are very fancy looking. I've had no problems with them at all. They are very durable and shine very easily. Great in the dishwasher.

The regency flatware tablespoon looks great with thing you can use them at any type of dinner, they look great day after day and its such a great price!
Mandy T. Posted on 02/01/2013
NOTE: These are HUGE, and thus are more suited for serving rather than eating. The dessert spoon in this same series is a more appropriate size if you're looking for a soupspoon. Nevertheless, this is simple, elegant, heavy silverware that is ideal for formal entertaining or for more mundane purposes. Mine have been knocked around in the dishwasher numerous times and have no discoloration whatsoever. Buy with confidence!

I think Regency flatware is the best. I have the whole set and it really looks good with any setting. You just can't beat the price.

I ordered the whole line of Regency flateware and i am so happy with it. The prices at webstaurant are so great i can not believe it!

These spoons by Regency hold their shines through the years. Yes, they get knicked up like all high volume silverware would, but I wouldn't buy any other.
James B. Posted on 11/11/2012
The regency line is wonderful. If you are building a dining set I do recommend a different spoon, such as tea or boullion. This tablespoon is much too large to use for eating..
Gilda K. from lake forest Posted on 05/22/2012
Very pleased with this line of silverware. They are holding up well in the dishwasher and look wonderful on the table. Already planning to buy more!

Quality product for a great price! I purchased this and other regency flatware for home use and I'm more than satisfied. This tablespoon is a bit larger than I expected. It looks almost like a serving spoon compared to the regular dinner fork. So now I'm ordering the European size dinner fork to match this tablespoon.
Mirella W. Posted on 07/29/2011
Like all the regency flatware, these are heavy, attractive and 18/10 at an 18/0 price. A word of caution: these are huge spoons. I bought them thinking they were dinner spoons and was surprised, but they're pulling their weight as serving spoons.
William C. Posted on 05/06/2011
This is a great price for quality flatware. The Regency pattern is a classic, nice enough for formal dining yet and wonderful for everyday use.
Donald J. Posted on 01/16/2010
I love the Regency Flatware. The design is simple yet elegant enough to use for any occasion. The stainless steel is very sturdy and the luster holds up well in the diswasher. I am thrilled with this purchase.
