Sage is an herb from an evergreen shrub, Salvia officinalis, in the mint family. Regal Ground Sage is highly aromatic and is characterized by a medicinal, piney-woody flavor. Also it has a fragrant aroma and a binding but warm flavor. Sage is popular with pork, lamb, meats, and sausages. It is also a key ingredient in poultry stuffing.
