Coriander is the dried, ripe fruit of the herb
Coriandum sativum, a plant of the parsley
family. When ground, it has a light brown
color. Regal Ground Coriander has a
distinctively citrusy and musty aroma.
Coriander has a mild, distinctive taste
similar to a blend of lemon and sage.
Regal Ground Coriander is used in lentils,
beans, onions, potatoes, hotdogs, chili,
sausages, stews, and pastries. It is used
in cooking in North American,
Mediterranean, North African, Mexican,
Indian, and Southeast Asian cuisines, as
well as spice blends, including curry
powders, chili powders, garam masala,
and berbere. Coriander is not
interchangeable with cilantro, although
they are from the same plant. Sold in a 7
