This premium grade, Regal Fine Ground White Pepper is 100% pure and comes from only the best peppercorns. White pepper, like black, is the berry of the pepper vine. Picked ripe and hulled, the berry turns white when dried. Fine grind white pepper has a more refined flavor and a sharp, penetrating aroma with a hot, pungent taste. It has a milder, more delicate flavor than black pepper. White pepper is primarily used when flakes of black pepper would be detrimental to the appearance of the dish; lightly colored foods, such as mashed potatoes, fish and cauliflower, are perfect examples of items that would be better served with white pepper. It is especially popular in European cuisine. Sold in an 8 oz. bottle.

    Regal Fine Ground White Pepper 8 oz.

    Use this product in place of black pepper for some of the people who have gastric problems. It is easier on the stomach they say.
