This premium grade, crushed red pepper is 100% pure and comes from only the finest red chile peppers. This crushed red pepper also comes with the seeds, so is hot as well as flavorful. It has been crushed, meaning that it is a flaky consistency, and is commonly seen in pizza parlors, as a topping for all variety of pizzas. Crushed red pepper may also be used to jazz up soups, marinades or an omelet. The heat of this pepper serves as a nice counterpart to any creamy dish, including cheese sauces or cream of spinach soup. A little bit of crushed red pepper goes a long way, so it recommended to be used in amounts of no more than 1/4 tsp. for four servings of whatever dish you're preparing. This crushed red pepper is sold in an 8 oz. bottle.
