I wanted a bulk source for poppy seeds because I go through them so fast. After a thorough search, the Webstaurant Store was the best price I could find online for the 5lb size. I was very happy when I received them. They have a strong organic smell and are bluish black in color. The seeds are a nice compliment to a variety of baked goods, and are a quick and easy way to add an extra crunch and a good boost of calcium.

I'm just starting out trying new recipes to hopefully get my business off the ground and love to use poppy seeds in a lot of my dishes. I've gone to grocery stores and spent a lot of money on seed of average quality. I will never buy from a super market again the price is phenomenal and the quality of the seed far exceeds anything I have purchased so far, not to mention the quickness of the order. Poppy seeds can be really expensive when bought in individual purchases at the grocery store, then why not buy them in bulk. it'll save you a ton of money.

These seeds are very fresh with a very natural, nutty, and unprocessed aroma. Excellent quality! Very strong nut-like smell and flavor that made the food taste much better than other seeds that I have used in the past. Clumpy seeds. The poppy seeds had great texture. Very prominent taste. Overall an excellent buy!
