How is the weight capacity determined for this mobile shelving unit?
The weight capacity of each mobile shelving unit is determined by the type of caster. Polyurethane casters have a total load rating of 900 Ibs. Rubber casters have a total load rating of 600 Ibs. The amount and or type of shelves do not affect the weight capacity.
Metro N566JC Details
This versatile Metro Super Erecta N566JC chrome wire shelving truck features an aluminum dolly that allows you to easily maneuver heavy items, and provides extra stability when moving the unit through tight spaces and over uneven surfaces. This unit features four neoprene swivel casters so you can easily maneuver it for cleaning, while two of them lock to keep the unit securely in place during use. Neoprene casters are very quiet and have great resistance to oil and grease.
All four shelves can be adjusted at 1" intervals along the entire height of the unit, giving you complete freedom to store extra ingredients or equipment any way you like. The strong, open wire shelves allow for maximum air circulation and visibility. A nickel-chrome finish on the shelves keeps them looking great even after heavy use. The shelving unit comes with four shelves, posts, plastic split sleeves, four neoprene swivel casters (2 locking), and a truck dolly with a wraparound bumper.
