How is the weight capacity determined for this mobile shelving unit?
The weight capacity of each mobile shelving unit is determined by the type of caster. Polyurethane casters have a total load rating of 900 Ibs. Rubber casters have a total load rating of 600 Ibs. The amount and or type of shelves do not affect the weight capacity.

This versatile Metro Super Erecta N436BBR Brite wire shelving unit is perfect for keeping your dry storage area neatly organized. It features four rubber swivel casters so you can easily maneuver it for cleaning, while two of them lock to keep the unit securely in place when being used. All four shelves can be adjusted at 1" intervals along the entire height of the unit, giving you complete freedom to store extra ingredients or equipment any way you like.
The strong, open wire shelves allow for maximum air circulation and visibility. The unit's Brite chromate finish gives it the sleek appearance of chrome, while a protective lacquer coat keeps it looking great even after heavy use. Shelving unit comes with 4 shelves, posts, plastic split sleeves, donut bumpers, and rubber swivel casters (2 locking).
