Overall User Rating: Mercer M30429M 29 Pocket Triple-Zip Knife Case ( 4.6 stars from 5 reviews )

I really like this bag. I am a culinary student and part time personal chef. The bag that came with my student kit was the single zip, hard case Mercer. It was fine, but I quickly outgrew it. I needed space for many different knives and other utensils. The bag description doesn't really do it justice because I was under the impression it was a triple zip bag, that is true but it also has two additional full zip compartments and a smaller one as well. In those two compartments I carry my aprons, chefs hat, digital scale, disposable gloves and any specialty ingredient I might need. Another thing I really like is the individual knife compartments are different widths so I can fit small items more snug. I'm hoping I will be able to add several photos because I think once you see how much it will hold and at the price you can't beat it! It is longer than my previous Mercer case and it barely fits in my backpack, kind of a pain to zip it all the way, but it does fit. Great product and great website. I received my order within 3 days, I couldn't believe it.

This compartment has nine total slots, 5 on the left that include two smaller and three larger and on the right side 4 large slots that work perfect for large chef's knives and other items.

I like the option of using the handle or shoulder strap. It makes it convenient and easy to carry whether you're switching rooms, or walking in from your vehicle. Fairly sturdy construction and very attractive design. I would only improve this case by making the inner lining cut resistant as I have not yet gotten blade covers and have already gotten a small puncture (not all the way through).

Really a good bag, well designed, and pretty tough. There is some significant wear on mine after about one and one half years normal use but it still performs. It holds a lot, too.

I quickly outgrew my other knife roll and this case was a welcomed change. I like that it no longer take an alot of space as it did when I used a roll. The bag is setup with knive on the outer two pockets and the interior has two zippered comparment for storing your smalls. Very well made.
