How should I apply Krazy Glue?
Regardless of what surface you are repairing it is important to clean and dry all surfaces thoroughly. Scrape off paint, old glue, or other substances to ensure good surface to surface contact. Wood surfaces should be planed or sanded flat. Metal should be cleaned of oil and dust. Use an acetone solvent for best results.
After cleaning, squeeze a small amount of glue onto the surface. Use one drop per square inch. Using more glue than what's recommended will increase the time it takes to bond, or the surfaces may not bond at all. Next, join the parts and press together for 30 seconds. It is important that the parts are stable during this time. Allow pieces to set for a few minutes. For best results, allow the glue to setup overnight. Once you’re finished, keep the glue fresh by closing the container tightly. Always store Krazy Glue in a cool, dark place.
