Need a decent Nakiri Knife for the price of a throw-away knife? This is the best Nakiri knife you can buy for the price. This is not a cheap stainless steel knife that is stamped out and sharpened, only to instantly dull the minute you actually try to use it. The handle is great, and solidly attached. The steel is durable and able to hold a blade. I can not recommend enough.

This has become my new all purpose knife. It works wonderfully for prepping small vegetables. A nice knife for chopping herbs and even garlic and shallots.

Overall, a very good knife. Fairly sharp right out of the package. After a little touching up it got to be razor sharp. It really holds its edge well. only downside was that the handle is a little slim for my liking

Simply one of the best knives that I have ever used. I own the whole set. Light weight and well balanced. If you love the Japanese style of cutlery then this is a definite must have.

I bought this as a replacement for a cheap, stamped, serrated, chef's knife from a boxed set. For $11 you get a decent knife. This isn't a knife you would pass on to your kids or grand-kids, but it does the job. Sharp edge, no serrations. I use this with vegetables, and it does great, I haven't had a chance to use it with meat. All in all, it works quite well.
