This Hobart 2812 manual slicer has antimicrobial protection built into it inhibiting the growth of bacteria and keeping the slicer cleaner between cleanings. The 2812 features an exclusive tilting, removable carriage system with plastic coated-metal feed grip and a stainless steel "CleanCut" knife. The 2812 includes a washable, a top-mounted sharpener, and a 1/2 hp knife drive motor. There is also an ergonomically-designed handle, permanently-mounted ring guard, a poly-V belt, and a 6' cord and plug. The carriage of the 2812 will handle food up to 12" wide or 7 1/2" diameter and adjusts to cut up to a thickness of 1". The overall dimensions on the 2812 are 29 5/16"W x 27 1/4"D x 24 1/8"H. The 2812 is UL and NSF listed, and has voltage of 120/60/1. The 2812 is recommended for those who slice 5 to 8 hours per day and is good for high production restaurants, delis and institutional use. This 2812 is suitable for heavy duty slicing of cheese. There is a one year, parts and service warranty on this slicer as well; this warranty covers the knife, too.
