features an exclusive
tilting, removable carriage
system with plastic coated-
metal feed grip and a
stainless steel "CleanCut"
knife. The 2712 includes a
washable, a top-mounted
sharpener, and a 1/2 hp knife
drive motor.
There is also an
ergonomically-designed
handle, permanently-mounted
ring guard, a poly-V belt,
and a 6' cord and plug. The
carriage of the 2712 will
handle food up to 12" wide or
7 1/2" diameter and adjusts
to cut up to a thickness of
1". UL and NSF Listed.
The 2712
is recommended for those who
slice 4 to 5 hours per day
and is good for high
production restaurants, delis
and institutional use. This
2712 is suitable for medium-
duty slicing of cheese.

This slicer is very easy to use. The blade is very sharp so keep an eye on your fingers when cleaning however all the safety parts can easily be sent to dishroom.

Boasting plenty of innovative, redesigned features, Hobart's new HS7N-1 13" automatic slicer ensures the superior performance and enhanced safety you expect, all while meeting the new NSF standards! This unit boasts a 13" CleanCut knife, which is made from a wear-resistant stellite alloy that will stay sharper and last two to three times longer than carbon coated or stainless steel knives! And thanks to its 1/2 hp motor and ample product carriage with 4 speed, 3 stroke automatic operation, this unit can easily handle continuous slicing of meats and cheeses.
This slicer also boasts plenty of safety features, including a zero-exposure knife design and a no volt release system that requires the slicer be restarted if the power fails. A new tilting, removable carriage system, removable meat grip arm, manual lift lever, and a removable ring guard cover also make this model easy to clean and put it in compliance with the new NSF standards!
