This is the best caramel that you can get in a can! The can coats appox 24 larger apples and can be thinned with sweetned cond. milk if needed. Used leftover caramel for turtles. simply amazing!

I am an amateur and used the double boiler method, as I didn't want to spend the money on the food warmer. When people say it takes a long time to heat up...that is no joke! It took HOURS for it to get to a consistency that I could even dip the apples. At first glance, they looked good, but it didn't take long for them to harden to a point you wouldn't be able to bite into them. I wasted an entire day and a good amount of money trying to make caramel apples for my wedding, only to throw them all away. The next day, I started over and made homemade caramel instead, which was a million times better in consistency, ease, and flavor. While this might work if you have the food warmer, I would not suggest even bothering without one. What a waste!

We were asked to make 300 caramel apples for a wedding. Webstaurant had the best prices and fastest shipping. My customer absolutely loved the way her apples turned out and her guests loved the favors.

well i sure am glad i stuck with my gut and decided to opt for the more expensive caramel! this was FABULOUS! i made so many apples with this and they lasted multiple days in our shop. the taste is amazing.

Gold medal brand tast all right but is not the best product for the money. My case Of another brand is cheaper and I now only order the other product based on the cost and quality. Webstrant offers other brands you should try that cheaper and good.

This caramel has been a favorite for our customers at our Caramel Apple stand at our annual Johnny Appleseed Festival. Usually don't have any issues with the product.

I actually use this dip for a slightly different purpose than intended, I use it to make a caramel-apple sauce for my various apple pancakes. It's delicious! I either add heavy cream and sometimes a little bourbon to thin it a bit, and then use it as a pourable sauce.

This Caramel is amazing!!.. We use it the store all day long and the best part is it's easy to melt and transfer into a double boiler and it tastes amazing. The caramel is smooth and a nice golden color and it stays consistent. I haven't burned it yet which is great!!. It also cools quickly making it easy to re-dip into chocolate and not effect the temper of the chocolate.

Yummy! We used this as the first coat to our caramel apples and it worked wonders! So thick and delicious! It easily coated 30 medium sized apples! It does take a while to heat up but it is so worth it!! This product was a no brainier for me and I will definitely be reordering very soon!

Ok, I did not like this product at all. Sorry! I tried to use for caramel apples and it is too much work to get out of the can...just warming it up enough to get out...headache. I trashed the can.

WOW, this caramel taste wonderful. We used it for caramel apples and everyone love it. Since we used it for a party and not a store or anything related, we had a little trouble melting it. It took a while in a crock pot, next time we will boil it first. l I think it will help a lot and at that price it's a good option. Did I tell you that everyone love it? it tastes delicious, will buy again. It last for a lot of apples I will say more than 30 with lots of caramel.

Great Product, the taste is really good, only bad thing is it takes a while to heat up. As other reviewers posted, it's best when you heat up the entire can. And you can use a little condensed milk to thin it out. Will purchase again.

This caramel was great! We used it to cover apples and top with nuts, sprinkles, etc. and tasted amazing! It was super thick! We used a high pan, and put it is boiling water to soften it, and then in a crockpot to keep it hot.

this not only tastes great, but has is nice and thick. I have used it not only for apples, but for the filling on candies. Works great

Great Product. Has really good taste and consistency. Since we don't use the whole can at one time it lasted awhile. Can't beat the price.

It is finally fall which means everything candy and caramel apple! This product is great for the fall season when the apples are just amazing.
Jennifer M. Posted on 09/26/2012
I love this caramel, all my customers like the flavor. It is easy to use if you have the caramel apple warmer because you just open it and put it inside the warmer. It takes about an hr to melt all the caramel.

Wonderful stuff! Tasted great! We were going to get ours from another company but found that the value was greater buying from Webstaurant! We received it and loved the taste! OMG! Good good!

Terrific caramel!!! We have had great luck with this product and are ready to re-order. We use it for caramel apples as well as chocolate turtles.
Tamela H. from The Chocolate Moose LLC Posted on 02/17/2011
I wanted to try making my own caramel apples and decided to go with this dip. Most of the other stores had a price for other brands of caramel dip that was much higher than here at Webstaurant Store, so it was a no-brainer for me to buy this one. The caramel apples came out excellent: just like they make them at the carnivals. Since it is made by Gold Medal brand, I know that is a quality-made product because Gold Brand makes many excellent concession supplies.
