Cut crisp shapes for attractive displays with the Franmara 1094 stainless steel serrated cheese knife and server. Great for use in restaurants and wineries, this knife features a fun, unique blade with die cut letters that spell "CHEESE." Not only do these holes add a festive touch, but they are also functional by resisting the stickiness that is often associated with soft cheeses. Also, the 5 1/4" jagged, serrated blade makes this knife useful for harder cheeses, adding unparalleled versatility. The handle is formed to fit comfortably in your hand and it features a full tang design for added strength and stability. With a forked end, you can easily serve cheese as soon as it is sliced!

The cutting action is very good. Much better than in semi-hard cheese knife. I think serrations is what really helps for that. Nice looking and easy to clean.

Overall, everyone seems to like this knife. The blade is solid, the prongs are fine. The weight is appropriate for the size. That being said, the handle is a bit large compared to many models. Oh, and the stenciled "cheese" letters don't seem to make anyone groan... People think it's cute.

The only other cheese knife we use is one from cutco. Considering the price of this one it is ok. (About 1/4 of the price of the other one). It worked fine with harder cheese but not so good with our softer cheeses.
