Also, the 5 1/4" jagged, serrated blade makes this knife useful for harder cheeses, adding unparalleled versatility. cheese knife cheeses harder fine price cutting cute cutco Considering

The cutting action is very good. Much better than in semi-hard cheese knife. I think serrations is what really helps for that. Nice looking and easy to clean.

Overall, everyone seems to like this knife. The blade is solid, the prongs are fine. The weight is appropriate for the size. That being said, the handle is a bit large compared to many models. Oh, and the stenciled "cheese" letters don't seem to make anyone groan... People think it's cute.

The only other cheese knife we use is one from cutco. Considering the price of this one it is ok. (About 1/4 of the price of the other one). It worked fine with harder cheese but not so good with our softer cheeses.
