I have used an Edlund can opener for 18 years + at a local camp, so I thought first of Edlund products when ready to purchase for our church. "Old Reliable" is the perfect description for this product!. We ordered the Stainless steel base as a precaution for salty products which might spill out of the cans. This is such an improvement from the hand held openers which our arthritic hands can no longer handle. The one at camp has lasted for over 50 years and is still going strong after replacing the cutting knife. I feel as if we have come into the 21st century from the 18th century with this addition to our church kitchen! Keep up the good work, Edlund and Webstaurant!
