Since these are jumbo straws, does that mean that they will work well for slushies and other thicker drinks?  
Jumbo straws are best for pure liquid beverages such as water, juice, and soda. If you're looking for something for thicker drinks like slushies, smoothies, or milkshakes, our giant straws (485WG7WH) are just what you're looking for! Or, for your extra thick drinks, colossal straws (485D85AN) are an excellent choice.

    putting in a straw to a togo drink

    Jumbo straws are really big. This goes great with shakes and such as the diameter of the straw can handle thicker beverages. Must buy for an ice cream shop.

    These straws are not what I was expecting when I ordered them. Unless you have a 44 oz cup, don't use these with any other size cup.

    I got the twelve in straws for lemonade and Italian Sodas. I was giving a lady a straw and she went to do the usual banging it on the table to get it out of the wrapper, and she accidentally bent it! And to both of our surprise the straw was not broken at all! Very good product!

    I BOUGHT THESE FOR THEIR LENGTH GOT TIRED OF NOT HAVING A STRAW LONG ENOUGH TO GET THE BOTTOM OF THE CUP WITH OUT THE STRAW FALLING IN... THESE WORKS GREAT AND DON'T FALL IN.....
