Since the mop is microfiber, it not only dusts but also polishes floors. The mop is non-abrasive. Use it on any type of non- porous floor. Unlike cotton dust mops that are either not washable or only last a few washings, the Carlisle 3633124 microfiber mop can be washed and rewashed. It can last up to 500 washings, but the key to this is washing the mop pad correctly. Do not use this product with or wash this product with bleach or fabric softener. Bleach will degrade the material so it breaks down quicker and won't last up to 500 washings.
