Sometimes things just come together, and fortune smiles upon you. Yesterday, I received an email from one of our customer solution specialists, who had a customer ask how to use our spaetzle maker. At that point, there were no instructions for use on the product page ( I just fixed that). Now, it just so happened that I had bratwurst and sauerkraut at home and no side dish. So I convinced the boss to let me create some sort of visual instructions for our spaetzle machine...by taking one of these kitchen gadgets home with me.
Below is a slideshow that not only shows you what you need to know about making spaetzle with our spaetzle maker, it also includes a recipe for basic spaetzle. But don't be afraid to experiment--you can make these German noodles/dumplings with herbs and with cheeses. So have fun with it.
Spaetzle Fun Fact #1: Did you know that Spaetzle (or in German: Spätzle) means "little sparrow"?
Spaetzle Fun Fact #2: Did you know that, at the time of this writing, our spaetzle maker is only $4.99?
