At my family’s Holiday dinners we have a tradition, and I’m sure many of you have the same tradition. Guys do the dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I actually look forward to drying the dishes, hanging out in the kitchen with my Grandpa, Uncles, and Dad, cracking jokes, having the occasional dish towel fight. Good times.
But, the one thing I don’t look forward to is cleaning the pots and pans. Caked on grease and fat, slightly burnt bits of baked goods cemented in hard to reach corners, mashed potatoes you have to hack at with a chisel.Ugh! Well for anyone, guys and girls, who’re dreading washing those dirty pots and pans this Holiday season, here’s a couple of inexpensive, disposable products that will save you a ton of anguish and a bunch of time - time you could be watching FOOTBALL!!!! or a PARADE!!!! or a DOG SHOW????
Roasting your Thanksgiving turkey, Holiday ham, or even a large roast in a disposable cooking bag saves time both in clean up and in cooking. These large plastic bags help seal in moisture, which helps your meats roast faster and keeps them tender and moist. The bag also collects all of the drippings, so they don’t "burn-on" to the bottom of your roast pan. Once you’re done carving, just put the scraps back in the bag and throw everything away! Give your scrub brush a break this season, and your elbows!
Whether you’re baking dinner rolls or a few dozen cookies, a pan liner can be a life saver when it comes to clean up. The liner protects your pan from burnt on batter and scorch marks, so all you have to do is pull the liner off the pan, then put the pan back on the rack. No more scouring and scraping! WEBstaurantStore.com has two varieties of pan liner for your baking pleasure -
Pan Pal Pan Liners
Parchment Pan Liners
So, hopefully you’ll save some time cleaning up after the big meal this year, and can spend more time with your family and friends. From all of us at WEBstaurantStore.com, have a happy, safe, and scouring-pad-free Holiday.
