piece engineered polymer base
and product table reduces
seams and joints while
providing an FDA approved
surface for easy, effective
cleaning. Precise thickness
control is achieved using a
variable pitch barrel cam for
fine adjustment and wafer
thing slices. The Berkel X13 index
knob and operating controls
are mounted outside of the
drip zone for quick and easy
access. The Berkel X13 features a super-
precise, 13" diameter, hollow
ground, hardened and
polished steel knife. The Berkel X13 has
an ergonomic,
multi-grip handle on the
articulating, full-length,
rear mounted meat pusher,
which ensures even slices. A
one piece, no-slip FDA
polymer base prevents the slicer
from moving around while
cutting, and the gauge plate
interlock is completely
mechanical. A permanent ring guard
protects the entire non-slicing portion of
the knife during slicing and cleaning. A
simple kick stand supports the slicer for
easy access to clean under the slicer. The
Berkel X13 is
capable of
cutting rectangles up to 10
1/2" x 6 3/4", squares up
to 7 1/2" and rounds up to 8
1/2", and depositing them
onto the extra-capacity
product table. This knife is
powered by a one-speed, 1/2
horsepower, permanently
lubricated ball bearing
motor, and comes with
borazon sharpening stones. This slicer is designed to handle 5 to 8 hours of slicing per day. ETL listed
and
NSF certified. The Berkel X13 is 28"
wide by 29" deep by 25"
high.
The warranty on the
Berkel
X13 slicer is all parts, service and travel
coverage for one year, excluding wear
items. Berkel also offers a separate 90 day
satisfaction
guarantee on all of their products. If you
purchase this product and you are not
satisfied with it during the first 90 days,
Berkel will take it back and
allow you trade up to a different unit, or
receive a refund of the purchase price.
