The 827E is for those who slice approximately 2 to 3 hours per day. The carriage handles food up to 8 3/4" wide, 7 1/4" high, or 7" diameter. The Berkel 827E has a 1/3 hp motor. The permanent, tapered guard on the 827E covers the non- slicing portion of the knife even when the sharpener and center plate are removed. The ring guard on the 827E is designed to provide added room behind the knife for easy cleaning. The 827E has a compact, space-saving design ideal for limited kitchen counter space. This 827E is suitable for occasionally slicing a limited amount of cheese and is ideal for small restaurants and diners. Unit is easy to clean and disassembles quickly without tools. Berkel also offers a separate 90 day satisfaction guarantee on all of their products.
