Berkel 823E manual,
gravity-feed slicer features
a hollow ground, chromium-
plated carbon-steel knife

built-in, dual-action
sharpener with convenient
handle located on the
sharpener cover. The Berkel 823E is
for use in low volume
applications of less than 1
hour of slicing per day; it has a 1/4 HP
motor.
The
9" blade on this slicer
limits product size to 7
1/8"
wide, by 6" high, or 6" diameter. The
permanent, tapered
guard on the Berkel 823E covers the
non-slicing portion of the
knife even when the
sharpener
and center plate are
removed.
The ring guard on the Berkel 823E
is
designed to provide added
room behind the knife for
easy cleaning. The Berkel 823E has
a
compact, space-saving design
ideal for limited kitchen
counter space. The Berkel 823E is
not recommended for slicing
cheese, nor is it recommended
for high volume or
institutional use. Unit is
easy to clean and
disassembles quickly without
